LONG BEACH, CA. (July 1, 2004) -- THK Photo Products, Inc., announces the introduction of the KENKO KRW-065 PRO DX precision wide-angle lens for cameras with 58mm filter mount.
The KRW-065 PRO DX supercedes the KRW-065 PRO-II as Kenko’s flagship quality 0.65x wide-angle lens. This lens is designed for professional use with high-end cameras like Canon’s GL-2 and the Sony VX-2100. In fact, two additional models of the lens, the KRW-065 PRO DX-S and KRW-065 PRO DX-C for Sony Bayonet mount and Canon Bayonet mount respectively, are available.
To ensure the best picture, all models have the same Kenko high quality precision optical glass that is multicoated to reduce the chance of flare or other reflections. To further reduce the chance of reflections, the all KRW-065 PRO DX models are designed to accept the new Kenko RHC-85 accessory lens shade.
The KRW-065 has an all-metal barrel construction to provide years of regular use making it s workhorse lens.
