This monopod is designed for the SERIOUS and heavy-duty photographer. With it’s ability to hold 20 of camera, lens and equipment THE PRO POD is perfect of long telephoto lenses like the 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4.5 or even a 600mm f/4.
Simple and rugged, THE PRO POD uses aluminum tubing and heavy-duty twist lock with large rubber grips for more comfort. A long lens can be attached directly to the monopod using the standard 1/4-20 threaded post or a wide variety of ball head can be attached.
A SLIK firm-grip surface provides a strong hold in any weather conditions while the wrist strap can be used to further the stability of the monopod.

A.R.S (Ant-Rotational System)
All the New SLIK PRO carbon fiber tripods and PRO POD 382CF monopod feature a new A.R.S (Ant-Rotational System) designed into the legs and leg locks. The A.R.S. systems prevent the leg tubes from rotating inside each other making it much easier to lock and release all the twist-release locks securely. The size of the rubber grips have also been increase in diameter to make them easier to operate. The monopod can securely handle up to 11 lbs of camera equipment."

T. alloy has a 40% greater strength to weight ration than standard aluminum, meaning the tubing used in this monopod is lighter weight yet stronger than the standard metal used in any of today’s monopods.
