The new SLIK Grand PRO CF 4 tripod uses space-age carbon fiber material to reduce weight and improve rigidity for a more stable camera support. This model is SLIK’s largest carbon fiber tripod reaching a maximum height of 100 inches!
The Grand PRO CF 4 has SLIK Twist-release Leg Locks. These locks are user adjustable to allow the tripod to hold up to 30 pounds of photographic equipment over 8 feet in the air. But due to the use of carbon fiber leg tubing the tripod weighs just 8.4 pounds.
For low angle photography the Grand PRO CF 4 has SLIK multi-angle leg locks that allow the angle of each leg to be positioned individually. Combined with a short column (618-800 purchased separately), this full sized tripod can be lowered to just 9.0 inches from the ground. Another benefit of the multi-angle leg locks is the tripod’s ability for easy set-up and positioning on uneven ground or steps. This model is also referred to as the PROFESSIONAL 4 CF.
